Author’s Note:I. AM. SO. SORRY. THIS. TOOK. SO. LONG. I don’t mean it you guys!! I’ve been too busy!! ;-; But here’s chapter 12 finally! By the way I looked at my other chapters and, being honest here, I’m SUPER amazed so many people like this! To be honest, this story wasn’t meant to go this far cause it literally was made for fun. That’s why I get so happy with how many of you like this. c’: It gets my feels you guys. <3 Anyways, but this story has a while to go!! That’s why I’m going to try to challenge myself. By posting a chapter everyday until it’s done!! Sound good, yeah? c: this only has one more plot after this one but I’m not ruining the total dramatic part that’s gonna happen XD So enjoy this new chappy!! c:

The day had come in which (F/n) and Sam were leaving the forest, boots and jackets on since it is around the end of September and the air is beginning to grow chilly. (F/n) has her hands stuffed into her pocket and Sam’s telling a funny story with strange hand motions. (F/n) giggles at the end with Sam cackling. Though it feels empty without Terra there the two try to make the best of it, despite their situation.

They step out onto the border between the outside world and the tree covered land they emerged from and breathe deeply. (F/n) pulls up a bandana she’d kept stuffed around her neck and underneath her jacket collar and wraps it around her nose and mouth, hiding her face from those who would know it from the missing persons report. It’s been months since she’d gone missing but there are still people looking. She doesn’t need a rampage from Jeff breaking loose because she gets taken into police custody.

The (h/c) haired female follows the red head who leads the way down the empty sidewalk. It’s a dark day, the sky blanketed with rain clouds waiting to pour and few people were out, making it seem creepy and (F/n) feel like she’s in a ghost town. Her (e/c) eyes scan the few stragglers. Some are holding shopping bags, others just talking to each other. Such a nice town, (F/n) felt kind of nostalgic, memories of she and her two best friends playing tag or buying candy.

‘No (F/n), don’t cry...’ She thinks, her mind wandering to Terra.

Sam notices the mood drop and furrows her brows, setting a hand on (F/n)’s shoulder. (F/n) blinks, turning to the other female. Sam gives a reassuring smile and (F/n) returns it. Even with the bandana there Sam can see her cheekbones rise and giggles. They continue to walk, silence falling around them and the rest of the town.
After 20 minutes of continuous walking the two see a male up ahead and they instantly recognize him. His hair is copper and swished back with some strands out of place. He wears baggy clothes and (F/n) can see some blood on the knees but she lets it slide. His gray eyes face them and he lightens up, turning.

“Oh there you two are!” He shouts and Sam nods, (F/n) staying quiet as they approach him.

“Yep, I think you remember (F/n) here.” Sam responds, gesturing to her friend. Zach looks at the (h/c) haired female hiding beneath the bandana and he smiles charmingly.

“Of course, how could I forget such a pretty face.”

(F/n) flushes, glad the cloth is hiding it, and scratches the back of her head, looking away.

‘Glad Jeff isn’t here...’ She assures herself, grateful.

Zach checks his phone then looks once more at them.

“Well come on then, my pals are waiting on us.” Zach says, turning towards a path leading into another section of the forest the girls had just left only minutes before.

“‘Pals’?” (F/n) asks instantly, suspicion growing in her. Weren’t they all just meeting up to get something to eat? The copper haired male turns, smiling and nodding.

“Yeah, I just gotta go get something from them before we go and eat.” He says with assurance. Sam shrugs and follows. (F/n) stands there a moment, something holding her back from following him.

‘I don’t know about this but we’ve known him since we were younger, what could happen…?’ (F/n) furrows her brows and hesitantly follows.

*Jeff’s P.O.V.*

I kick open the door of the warehouse with my sneaker and slam it once I’m inside. BEN, who was trying to pull his PSP out of Smile Dogs mouth, notices my angry stance and stops, the dog rushing off and the blonde cursing at him before standing and facing me.

“What’s your problem? Your period hit you?” He jokes, snickering. I glare the best I can at him before chucking my knife at his head. It barely misses, the sharp point sticking into the wall. He stands there unphased though and I scoff before going and grabbing my weapon.

“So what is wrong?” He sounds more serious now so I answer.

“A victim slipped.” I answer. I lift my jacket and he sees the cut in my side before I begin heading towards the stairs.

“Ah.”

“(F/n)!” I call up, now ignoring the virus. No answer. Turning back to the blonde BEN speaks up before I can ask if she’s sleeping.

“She’s not here. Went out with Sam somewhere, I think shopping,” I grip my knife tightly as he continues,”I think shopping. I don’t know, I don’t get girls.”

After he says that he walks off, probably to search for Smile again to get his stupid game back. My mind’s somewhere else though as my lidless eyes land on the front door. Even more anger boils in me and I growl deep in my throat. She’s a missing person, does she not realize that?

“Fuck!” I shout, throwing my knife at the wall again. It hits a crate perfectly, almost bullseyeing it.

“Jeff, stop PMSing!”

Before I head upstairs to wash myself off I leave BEN with a black eye.

*(F/n)’s P.O.V.*

We continue to follow Zach, not sure where we’re heading. We’re still on a path but it seems like we’re just going in a circle. I can feel as chills tickle my spine with the creepy atmosphere while Sam is talking to Zach and asking when we’re going to get there, wherever there is. I’m almost ready to just head back home.

“Zach, how much farther? It’s been almost 15 minutes and we’re not getting anywhere.” Sam groans.

“Not much farther, just a few more steps.”

I feel as if we’re being watched and I almost hope it’s Slenderman just thinking were victims. Finally, after about 5 more steps, Zach stops abruptly and I bump into Sam as she tries to not run into him. We both look at him, my bandana down now so I can see clearer, and his back faces us. I feel ready to ask what he’s doing when he interrupts.

“You know, you two really have gotten cuter since middle school… it’d be a shame…”

My blood runs cold with how his voice sounds.

“A shame…?”

He slowly faces us and he grins at us. It makes my stomach churn with how dark it is and his eyes hold evil in them. I gulp, gripping Sams jacket sleeve and beginning to back up. Something stops me though as what feels like a gun is pressed at the midsection of my back. I freeze, my (e/c) widening and Sam whimpers at the men stepping out from behind the trees around us. I turn back to Zach, a glare growing on my face and I shout.

“What the hell is this?!”

He snickers as if I’d just said a joke.

“Why, a kidnapping of course.” He answers. I shut my mouth. What am I supposed to say when I have guns pointed at me and my best friend? Me and Sam look at each other and I can see the tears wanting to drip from her green orbs.

“Now boys, let’s show our guests back to our home and to my office.” Zach grins and turns, leading once more down the path. The gunman pushes me forward and I grip Sams arm as we follow.

‘Jeff… where are you…?’
