Chapter 4

"Take this!" Tamaki yelled, hitting the volleyball at Hikaru and Kaoru. Hikaru ran for it, bumping it and sending it flying back. Tamaki ran forward and jumped into the air, smacking the the ball hard and sending it at the ground. Kaoru went to dive for it but was to late. Another point awarded to Tamaki.
Haruhi sat on a beach chair, bored and watching the three boys.
'Why are these three always like this? Competitive just to hang out with me. Why are some boys such idiots?' She thought, watching Tamaki score another point.
"That's 5-3! And once I reach 8, I'll be the winner and the one with Haruhi the rest of the week!" Tamaki gushed, making a happy face and becoming giddy as he imagined him and Haruhi playing in the ocean water, Haruhi in her bikini. Haruhi sighs, annoyed.
'He's right. At this rate Tamaki will be the winner and that means I'll have to spend the whole week with him. Can this get any worse?!' Haruhi looks around, looking for somewhere she could go to hide from the three for a little while.
"C'mon boss! Slow down a little, will ya? And give us a chance to actually hit the ball!" Hikaru yells at the blonde boy.
Haruhi looks back, seeing the twin get a point. 'That's 5-4. It's getting close but Tamaki might win.' Haruhi thinks.
Tamaki jumped into the air after a couple of hits from both sides and yelled,"Catch this!" The ball flew quickly at the twins and they grew frightened looks. Haruhi gasped as the two were both smacked in the face by the volleyball and sent flying. They both laid on the ground, twitching and groaning.
"It seems to me like Tamaki actually one this battle." Kyoya says, appearing next to Haruhi's chair. Haruhi jumps at it and gives a scared look.
'Why does he always appear around ever corner?!' She thinks. She then looks back at Tamaki. He was cheering and jumping up and down happily. He then ran up and looked down at Haruhi.
"Looks like I one Haruhi! Now what are we going to do first?! Oh I know!" He cheers. grabbing her hand and pulling her along with him as they ran off the opposite direction.
'This is a nightmare!' Haruhi groans in her mind as she tries to keep up with the excited Tamaki.

The two ended up in some shops not to far from the beach. They were selling multiple things from food and ice cream to clothes and jewelery. Haruhi looked around, amazed at it all as Tamaki pointed out the things that amazed him.
"Haruhi! Look at this!" He said, holding up a corn dog."It's a sort of meat on a stick that's covered with soft bread!" He giddily tells her. She nods, holding and looking at it. "Yeah, it's called a corn dog. People eat them all the time. Here, taste it." She says, holding it up to his mouth.
Tamaki looked at it with surprised eyes then slowly takes a bite from the top of it. He chewed it, smiling and enjoying it. When he finished and swallowed he said,"That's amazing." Haruhi gives him a weird look then smiles a little.
They continued walking, looking through all the shops and buying some things Tamaki thought was interesting.
They reached a clothing shop that sold swimming suits, shirts, shorts, and multiple jewelery. As they stood at it they heard a whistle. The two turn around to see some guys in swim trunks holding surf boards wolf-whistling at Haruhi. Haruhi blushed as they kept doing it, saying perverted things to her and winking at her. Tamaki glared. But became angered soon when one guy, one with dark brown hair and eyes to match, said,"I want a piece of that!"
Next thing any of the knew, Tamaki ran like lightning at him and uppercut him straight in the jaw, sending the guy flying into a popsicle stand. The other guys stared at where there friend laid in fear then looked at Tamaki. His face held anger and he looked ready to hit another.
"Now, I suppose you all leave and never even look at my girl again before the same thing happens to every single one of you." He threatened, his face now dark. They all shook and stared at him.
"Now leave!!" Tamaki yelled, pointing down the trail of shops to the exit. They all nodded and ran off down the way, not even taking a second look back. Haruhi stared in surprise as she watched them go. She then turned to Tamaki as he stood straight and walked back over to her. He passed her though and stepped to the clothes stands cashier.
"I would like to buy one pearl necklace, the best one you have, and one  blue t-shirt please." He told the man. The man nodded, looking a little frightened because of what just happened, and grabbed the most beautiful pearl necklace Haruhi had ever seen and a light blue t-shirt.
After Tamaki paid the man he turned to Haruhi and handed her the blue shirt. "Here. Put this on so guys won't stop giving you googly eyes. A woman should never show that much skin until she's married." He said quoting the last time they were at the beach while blushing a little and looking away. Haruhi nodded, knowing she didn't want to get in an argument with him after what she had just seen, and pulled the shirt over her head. It covered her almost completely.
After that Tamaki turned and led the way as Haruhi followed. 'Where'd the necklace go? And why'd he even buy it?' She thought, not seeing the necklace in Tamaki's hands.
"Hey Sempai." Tamaki stops, hearing Haruhi talking to him. He doesn't look back though. Haruhi knew he wasn't going to say anything so she asked,"What was the necklace for?"
Tamaki stands there a moment then turns around to her. He then pulled the pearl garment from his pocket and held it up and towards Haruhi.
"It's for you." He said. He then walked around her to wear her back was facing him and reached the necklace around to the front of her neck. She clipped it and let it go. It hung beautifully on Haruhi's neck and Haruhi's eyes lit up. She turned around to face him and whispered,"But.."
He shushed her then walked past her and said,"C'mon, we should probably get back." Haruhi saw the sky was getting dark and nodded, following the blonde boy.
As they walked she thought,'I wonder what's up with him? I mean I know the guy was being a jerk but he wigged out pretty bad. And then he bought me a necklace? I'll have to ask him about it tomorrow.'
They walked in silence as they sky became darker and the stars sparkled.
